Christmas is over and I'm still in beatiful Devonshire. Personally, I don't know why people are tripping over themselves trying to get back. I'll probably be back two days from now, and when I do-- Bellatrix won't be around. Great turn out this year, I should think.

I have been home for half a day and it feels like I've been born again. I don't believe I've ever been this happy at Hogwarts. My cousin Avicus will be getting a pony this year, isn't that sweet? I've read the Daily Prophet report. I'm very sorry. This is terrible. Things like these shouldn't happen. I hope the Ministry is doing something to make sure these things don't happen again.

Depite how much I bitch about it, there is much to be said about Slytherin cunning. It's a sense of self-preservation, actually. Other Houses would do well to adapt.

Edit: Don't listen to a word Skeeter says. I did no such thing to Bellatrix, or to anyone for that matter. She is just bitter she's under dormitory arrest.
