My knee pain is comming from my flat feet causing my feet to turn out in contrast to my hips which turn in (from being a female apparently it's more common). Apparently it's really common, made worse by just how flat my feet are, but the damage to my knees is not that bad - which is really good ( Read more... )

I went rock climbing at planet rock with Molly today. We got there, I had to go through that "course" which is like this is how to belay, which I've done before and therefore took 2 seconds for me to learn. Good news!! I may not have to have surgery after all! This whole thing is just a rotton mess, really. Apparently my uncle, who is an orthopedic surgeon, thinks this last doctor was full of shit. Apparently the big problem was that he was basically a podiatrist (sp?), and that basically he wasn't really allowed to do anything with my knees, and ( Read more... )

My cholesterol's down!! It's now 190 something, down from 280 something. 280 was like in the "cardiologist" realm, while 190 is technically in the "normal" range. It's still high, but wow, good news!!

Orthopedic surgeon next week :)
Hopefully they can help my painful knees
