Plans changed.  I'm not a pool jockey any more (although, the pool was fun. I read and had daily dance parties with my co workers. No joke.) I got switched to TASC.  That was two weeks ago. As far as I could tell, I was done with life guarding and teaching kids to swim. The original plan for my summer was to lead kids on back packing trips as part of a camp in Elbert. So, I got into the LSE for next year. I think the next big hurdle is not psyching myself out and learning how to write papers ahead of time. Oh yeah, and financing this mess. Those issues aside, I'm excited but uneasy. I'm going to Portland on Thursday to hang out with Molly. Good times. Good times.

I've been really bad with dates and times lately. Someone or something has been switching around the time on my computer. That someone is me when I can't figure out if my computer is right or wrong by an hour and that something is the auto update when it tries to do what it is programed to do. Huh. Yeah. I don't drink regularly and when I do, I don't really drink that much. As such, two consecutive nights of excessive drinking has taken its toll. Really, I just want to go to a beach. A soft, warm, beach. Lay next to the water. Lay in the sand. Swim with no apparent goal. Maybe see how far out I can go, but not necessarily. I got to cook a Christmas Eve dinner for my family. I was very proud of my caramelized onions and their corresponding pan sauce that went over some beautifully grilled steaks.
