... now that I am not even 100% sure if what I read was the real deal anymore. I still think it is, and that if it isn't whoever made this book, complete with EXTREMELY authentic looking illustrations and type set is genius of the century.
I didn't read this the other day because I hadn't read the book yet, but did you really like the Snape arc? It made me think a lot less of Snape than I had all throughout the series. I was expecting Lollipops and all that, and basically the whole "why kill Dumbledore" was what many people had already suggested, but yeah, I felt like Snape turned out to be less than I thought he was.
I didn't read the Snape part when I wrote this post- only heard from a Snape fan friend about it. I still haven't got around to read the book beyond chapter 3 at the moment, and said friend told me Snape's affection (?) seemed to have extend also to Dumbledore and maybe even Harry, though of course Lily was the big motivator behind his 'heroic' actions. No, if that were the case then of course I won't like the Snape arc as much as I thought I would- but then again, my major disappointment lies in how the Slytherin kids were handled. I believe I'd have been able to overlook the fact Snape's story was more about his romantic passion than anything else had the Slytherin kids/house unity arc not been a complete joke, the same way I overlooked a hell lot of absurdities in the previous HP books.
I must say I didn't get much of what you are going on about... :P But yeah, why do you always read the ending first? Would that spoil the whole book? I know ebs got the book in the afternoon and finished reading it that evening.... well... you see, at the time, there wasn't much else to do other than staying in the room with me and the baby.... so yeah :P
Anyways, hope everything is going well for you... except for the laste Harry Potter book maybe :P
