I am working on some new pieces and projects, but with some encouragement, I thought I might put up a few older pieces that haven't been seen outside of my house before.

I've been being a very good little soldier lately, and taken up power-walking! I like to go out at dawn or dusk, because I have a bad habit of singing along to my iriver, and sometimes doing the actions too, and I prefer to do that when there's not too much light around.

Finally home from hospital. I went in at 8am yesterday, supposedly for day surgery, but they didn't manage to get it done during clinic hours. So I got moved to a ward to wait. Still nil by mouth ( Read more... )

Following in the vein of me doing stupid things today, I spent the evening at Middlemore under care of the hand surgeons, after managing to stab myself with a kitchen knife while trying to get a stubborn stone out of an avocado. Attempting to clear blocked sinuses by sticking Night Strength Deep Heat up my nose is probably not the most stupid thing I've ever done, but right now I'm having trouble recalling a stupider.

On plus side, sinuses are very, very clear now.

I've been doing a bit of a mental spring-cleaning of late, trying to get my head in better order, sort out my priorities, and figure out what I really value, and what I want from life.
