for real!

I pretty much had to 'lie' for a bit that I was coming home on September 4th,
as my arrival yesterday was a surprise for my mom's birthday!
It was a surprise all right!

(My initial flight was for the 4th though...so a half-truth...kind of :) )

can't wait to see you in person!

We have seven days left in Australia.

Our school leader was out to visit us this week,
and one of the encouragements he shared with us was to
finish strong, run hard PAST the finish line.
I think this has always been a challenge for me.
Not because I give up, but I do tend to 'lose interest' towards the end

our team visited a Korean church on Sunday...
and I decided that I love it.
maybe the lunch afterwards really convinced me -
(even the kimchee was good!)
but really. Korean people are so warm and inviting.
