All of a sudden, I long to drive my old car -- a 1990 Nissan Stanza (manual transmission) with no A.C.

Not only do I miss driving it, but I miss having to park it on a hill and pop the clutch to get it started.

I have a feeling that it's in pieces now, and that makes me sad.

I just found out that my memo was chosen as one of the best for a memo writing competition at school! It was one of four chosen (out of the 100+ submitted by students in my section). 1) I left for school yesterday and there wasn't any oak pollen on the ground at my apartment. I returned from school and it was everywhere. Has it always dropped this fast?

2) What's up with Aidan from SATC doing commercials for Applebee's? That's like when Mercedes from ANTM did commercials for Chili's.

When I got home last night, my apartment smelled really bad. "Bad" meaning that it smelled like a mixture of paint thinner, gasoline, acetone, ammonia, and Goo Gone. How in the hell do I keep getting pinkeye? I don't think anybody has been farting on my pillow.

I don't know why it's coming back into fashion, but lately I have been seeing a lot of girls wearing their jeans tucked into their boots. Personally, I don't care for the style. No offense to anyone who tucks their jeans into their boots, though. Lots of nice people do it. (See Reba McEntire circa 1986.)

I've lived in Austin for five out of the past six years, meaning that I have been in town for five out of the six Austin City Limits Festivals. But I didn't attend any of them, and I never really wished that I had gone to any of them.
