ding dong, the witch is dead.
my birthday is in less than two weeks.
ben and i were hired to cook for a party on the third (free bloody marys!)
all i want is to get over this illness and go back to work.

i am lucky enough to wake up to the most intense love i have ever known every morning.

negative: i have both tendinitis and a uti that is absolute murder. i couldn't make this up.

positive: i work ten hours on memorial day with time and a half.

in two-ish weeks, ben is moving in.

i have everything.

today at work, and older woman asked me to read to her the wash and dry (including ironing) directions off of a sweater tag. then she asked me to read to her the percentages of the materials that the sweater was made out of. later, i bought steve madden flats for $3. my job kicks ass.

in my fridge: homemade chicken and cherry compote pate, pistachio mortadella, hot coppa, champagne

in my freezer: vodka for bloody marys, whiskey for mint juleps, pancetta

tomorrow is six months and late-night happy hour at moshi moshi. i am listening to in rainbows on vinyl.

you won't hear a single complaint from me.
