so far, so good. Heard back from seven firms. Six initial interviews.

I keep thinking "at least it dropped a level and moved a little east--at least the city isn't totally annihilated." It's not much consolation, but I guess it's something.

I was watching the news last night and they had a story on the local animal shelters and how they have too many kittens and kitties and will have to put a bunch of them to sleep.
