Update and stuff

Ugh
So I built a new computer...used my tax return to build a decent enough rig. AMD Kuma with 4 gigs of ram and a 1gig ati card...500gig hdd (didn't need 1tb like everyone else since I'm not a packrat). Still out of work and can't find anything that suits me. Too qualified for some jobs...no teaching jobs in the area...pretty well screwed. Was ( Read more... ) -
What would you do?
So I was discussing this with some friends in chat and it got me thinking.
What would you do if you won the lotto/powerball/megamillion/?
Personally, I'd put most of my money up and use a small amount to:
Buy a 2-3 bedroom house, nothing huge but something nice that I can live in without it getting crowded if I ever got married and had kids.- Buy misc ( Read more... )

Feels like college
So, while laid off, I've been going outside to smoke since my mom gets some coughing fits when my bros smoke inside. And during the middle of the night, I tend to stare up into the sky and it just makes me feel like I'm back on campus. Sitting outside at 3am, smoking cigarettes, letting my buzz wear off from drinking with friends. I don't know ( Read more... ) -

BWAH!
So I bought WoW and the expansion, got a game card too so I can play til almost thanksgiving. Last two days the game has died on me, rather the video has died. So today I look in my tower to see if the card sneaked out or something. I look in and the fan on my vid card is danging 2 inches below the heat sink. Healthier
So yeah I've been in the process of quitting cigarettes and trying to get back into shape.
Went to the weight room in the dorm, though it sucks, and did arm, chest, and leg workouts. Already noticing some improvements with the working out idea compared to the last time I was trying to get back in shape. Biceps have gained better tone already ( Read more... ) -

Whooo last semester of classes!
So yeah I am finishing my 4th year of college this semester, which means I'm done with all my required courses and have one thing left: Student Teaching! Good thing is that I'll be done with my Bachelor's in Education by xmas time. Bad thing, I'm taking 6 courses for a total of 18 credit hours (full load).
