Okay, so in prepping for my felted hat class in April, I am looking for more pics that look to have felted hats and I ran across this...in the following picture there is a woman in a green hat and I am wondering if you all think it is a felted hat, or a dyed straw hat...

Felted hat over a straw frame? :-) Naw, I think it's felted.

I'm thinking felt. Funny though - it looks like a larger version of a woman's hat from say the 1930's to the 1950's. Everything old is new again.
