Christmas
We had a lovely, if stressful, Christmas. My brother made it out from New Jersey, finally, after practically the voyage of Odysseus. HIs flight from NJ was 2 hrs late, so he missed his connection in Chicago (on Friday). The Sad State of my social life
How sad is it that I saw a bunch of friends yesterday, and not one (except gottasing) noticed that I had cut all my hair off (the shortest it has been in over 20 years), yet today, when I show up at work, tons of people comment on the new 'do? Vacation soon
Two more days. Just two more days, and then I get two weeks off. I'm so happy. :-) We're going to Gyldenholt Anniversary on Saturday, then we'll drop kid and dog off at the grandparents and we're going to Santa Barbara and Cambria for our anniversary. The Big Meeting
So, today was the big meeting we've been rehearsing for for two weeks. My presentation was first--I dressed up in my red power suit, straightened my hair, even put lipstick on. Some good news . . .
For those of you who know my job saga, I finally got some good news yesterday. My boss called me into his office, asked me and my co-worker a couple of work related questions, then said "oh, by the way, it's official. You are promoted to track lead.
