Singing and Sheep

Today I went for my first singing lesson and found out that I am a true alto.  She (my teacher) was quite impressed with how low I can reach and commented that I had a very wide range.  I had a blast and I am really excited that I am finally doing this.  My entire family is musical and can sing and have been trained...I was just not really ( Read more... )

Are you kidding me?! I won't even ponder teaching a class. Then again, maybe it's because I'm seriously lacking in the research skills area, but look at how weird I am about teaching voice lessons? That I should know how to do, and I still won't take the plunge.

I am! I've finally got the courage to do it. I've been in the Theater previously, but I was frustrated that so many roles were in musicals, so...I've finally decided to make it a priority to work on my vocal prowess. I have a crazy lofty goal of singing the National Anthem at a Hockey game in Stockton. (I know a bunch of people that have season tickets and I thought it would be neat.) Not saying that it will ever happen...but it is a goal to work towards.
