Hmm. I could say something like "more Jo and Ellen before they died," or "more on the attraction between Jo and Dean," or whatever, but it's not about the Harvelles (though I do always want more of them!). I think that my choice that I wish they'd worried more about (because the next episode something even bigger happened and it never was dealt with) is this.

I've made no secret of the fact that this is my favorite episode. I think that the glimpse of the other life that Dean saw, that he forced himself to leave, could have had a lot more fallout from it. It could have been mentioned or dealt with, or whatever you want to call it. I just wish there was something other than the pained look at the end with the "I thought it was supposed to be a perfect world." "It wasn't. It was just a wish." But because of everything that was AHBL, they never went back to it. And I think that was a missed opportunity.
