Mobile time?

Nov 15, 2006 06:09

I've been thinking on it more and more lately; I may get a mobile phone.

Foremost, I require these things:
High call quality
Long battery life
Quad band

These would be desirable features:
Memory card slot
USB
Bluetooth
Large, clear screen
Ability to play MP3s
Standard headphone jack

I do not necessarily require or desire much else.

Thought I'd

This took three attempts to post.

Maybe livejournal could tell how boring it was and was trying to tell me something.

Reasons Bambie wants me to have a cell:

1. She will then call me constantly.
2. Only her texts will exceed her calls.
3. She thinks it will stop me from taking her
cell and putting it down my pants.

Bambi want you to have a cell phone so that:

1. She can find you on those long, lonely nights.
2. So that when she feels like she needs cake, she can just call and you'll come
3. So that these awful lists can stop.
4. I love cookies.

The basic phone with high quality is hard to find. If you throw in bluetooth and a camera (sorry) then you can more easily get a good quad band high-capacity battery phone.

Integrated memory used to be hard, now its not, especially if you are getting the above features. The MP3 player isn't a bad idea.. though the standard headphone jack.. 3.5.. ouch. Not easy.

I'd say stick with the Line I have, W or K sonyericsson. Nokia has one or two that are acceptable as well. Its the price range that will get you. Best to find something online, older, thats still in stock. OR.. get a new phone on a three year plan to drop the price.

Yah, thanks for helping me go over phones last night.
It really helped me to narrow down what it is that I'm after.

yea, 3.5mm jack is going to be almost impossible. if you go with a good phone that has a weirdsville 2.5mm jack, you can just get the stereo adapter for a retarded $23 at the shack. you can't just use any 2.5mm-3.5mm adapter cause they switch all the bands around. jerks.

i think you should get a blackberry pearl! don't get motorolla or sony! sony is honestly trying to ruin us. their software now makes it difficult to put mp3s on the phones too.

nokia, samsung, blackberry, palm.

go to the blackberry launch when it comes out two months ago!

other than that... sign a 3 year contract with rogers and get it for $250. Or do a hardware upgrade with rogers for $300-$50 mail in rebate. (same price).

It retails for $500 not $Bajillion.00
