Wow, sorry I haven't updated, but I had a busy weekend. I had a lot of time to make up so I spent all of Friday and Saturday in flight training. Sunday I just slept. The simulators really don't prepare you for the stress of actually be up there. My first day of flight training today was AWESOME. OMG, I can't describe how amazing the feeling was. Soaring through the sky towards the stars and then diving back to the ground at the speed of sound. The instructor only let me take the controls for like 5 minutes, but I was amazed at how smooth and responsive the mecha was. It was over so soon, ( Read more... )

Today is my first day of flight training at the Academy. I was actually supposed to start on Monday, but I had a bad cold and the instructors told me that the pressure changes would make me feel like my head was gonna explode.
