Another very snowy morning in Bristol and its still coming down. All busses are off again so I'm going to work from home today. Its definitely deeper this morning than yesterday! I hope its all cleared up for our flight at 06:30 tomorrow morning!

Not going to work because of snow does have lots of advantages! I went down to the yard to see Neo and Simon took some photos.

Got up at 7. Had breakfast. Call from boss to say buses in Bristol aren't running and it wasn't worth risking driving in as there's nowhere safe to park at work. So I went back to bed for a bit. Looks like most of the schools are off as this is the scene in the park behind our house

So wish I'd had the day off to go and see Neo, but had to go to work and trek to a meeting in Cardiff. Asked the yard owner if she could get some pics of Neo in the snow as I think its the first time he's seen much snow! He seems to be a happy boy and not minding the white stuff at all!

Weeee.. off on holiday a week today for a week in Morocco. We're flying to Marrakesh but heading straight to the coast for 4 nights here . Then back to Marrakesh for 3 nights here . I can't wait! Rode out on Jet today and another person at the yard came out on her mare. Simon brought Neo for a walk. He was pretty good for most of it but then the 2 of us on horseback went to explore a path we haven't been along yet while Simon had a rest with Neo on some lovely lush grass. On Friday we had a chimney sweep come and give the chimney a good clean. On Friday evening logs were gathered (well bought) and since then we've had a lovely open fire in our lounge. Been up to the new yard today to have some fun with Neo. Brought him in for a good grrom and to change his rug. Before putting him back out again I turned him out into the arena. He's never been in one before so didn't know what he'd make of it. He had a good hoon around and kept looking for Storm his new love who was watching from the far field. ( Read more... )

Neo is settling in well and has a new girlfriend. She's another 3 year old owned by the yard owner, the first night he was turned out with just her to see how he settled.
