For the month of June, I'm doing absolutely nothing.

Which actually means:

• Attempting to learn French
• Working on mandolin
• Catching up on reading
• Riding my bike
• Playing stupid computer games

Yay! My speeding ticket was dismissed! *does happy dance*

Background: I got a ticket the other day as I was coming out of the airport. Oh, how time flies.. one month later, and it's almost the end of the semester. I blame NWN2 and FFXII. In two weeks I need to finish:

• A complexity theory problem set
• The complexity theory term project
• Circuits programming project
• Circuits problem set
• Draft of SIGIR paper

The weather's really nice today, so I spent some of the morning biking around downtown and running errands - bank, library, co-op, Dawn Treader -- they actually had one used copy of The Tempest (and several inexpensive complete Shakespeares) which kind of surprised me given the Royal Shakespeare Company residency... Lots of good news today! The best is that I had a doctor's appointment with my GI today and he says it's probably fine if I have one or two drinks a week even while on the methotrexate, and I don't even want to drink that much (maybe one or two a month). Computational Complexity problem set: Turned in. One proof I know to be flawed, the key argument for another I found on the Web, and pretty much the entire argument for a third I found on the Web also. I seem to have massively underestimated the amount of time that the PROBLEM SET OF DOOM would require - the devil's in the details; the general approach isn't always so easy to apply.. Ah, April 9th... the day after my Day of Doom (I did the things I was obligated to do - Terpsichore and my early music ensemble concert - but had fun doing both!) No rest for the wicked, though. The end of the semester draws near!
