1000 bouts et al
So Rouland did it. He fought 1000 bouts at the great Pennsic War. I was there for almost all of the bouts and I am proud to say he fought with honor, prowess and skill. His body paid a price, but he is young and recovering far more quickly than his old man would ( Read more... ) -

If I had to describe War Practice in one word I would have to go with hectic. We set up camp on Thursday with help from Thorgrim and Raven. Yvianne stayed, I went home to bake my entry for the Wooden Pin competition. Stayed up till 11:30pm baking, but got it all done ( Read more... ) -

I had my follow up with the doctor last Monday. I am cleared to return to normal activities, but still need to wait on the fighting thing. I am felling really good. I have some minor discomfort on the right side of my stomach just to the side of the belly button. I can't say it hurts, it is just a new sensation that was not there pre-surgery.
