Going to Chicago for my birthday tomorrow! So excited. There's always so much to do there. It's my favorite city. We're going to the Field Museum Saturday, and we may go to the Sears Tower Friday night (I know, it's the Willis Tower now, but I won't call it that.) To me, it's easy. The internet. I really don't think I could function without an internet connection. I read way too much Fanfiction than is healthy. -
Coffee is love
Okay, so for Christmas, I pretty much told my husband what to get me. This may seem wrong, but I love my new present. He got it for me today. If you haven't heard of the Keurig Coffee makers that serve single cups, you need to check them out. They are a bit pricey, but *so* worth it. Went and saw New Moon for the second time early this evening. I have to say that I liked it better the second time around. I had to get over the lack of certain scenes and info in the movie that was present in the book. I was told never to compare the book to movie ratio, but it can't be helped. :-) -

As much of the world knows, New Moon opens November 20th. My co-worker and I are one of the crazies going to the midnight showing. Then we have to be at work at 8 in the morning. We're going to be running on adrenaline and caffeine. But it's going to be epic, and so worth it. -

Last week sucked. I found out my husband's brother's wife is pregnant, they used clomid. They can't take care of the three children they already have (his two children by two different mothers) and the one they had a couple years ago who is severely special needs. Yeah, I joined the dark side. I read all four Twilight saga books in less than a week and have seen the movie umpteen times. I can't help myself. Edward is so hot. And I don't care if these books are read by tweens, I know 50 year old women who are just as obsessed as I am ( Read more... ) -
Father's Day was so hard
Yesterday was one of the most difficult days for us. We went back to church Sunday, and of course the service revolved around fathers. I spent so much time crying, and I could tell it was affecting Michael.
