So i was presented with a decision to make... now, im supposed to go in for surgery on 8 January. I WAS supposed to deploy in February for 4/8 months. Because i 'cant' go... they are having trouble finding someone to take my place. They actually came to me and asked if i could possibly postpone my surgery until after my deployment. Now! It Figures
So as of this past Monday, i have 7 years on station here in Texas. I finally get to go on a 'trip of a lifetime' and it gets yanked. Because SOMEONE ELSE messed up and now cant deploy in February... i have to fill that role. The individual taking my place on the dream trip is an absolute ass-tard and has no business going. new trip for this guy
so Friday... my section chief came to my section asking for two volunteers. I stepped up and decided to put my name in the hat. I put in for leave in a few weeks so hell... a little kissing ass cant hurt. Turns out... he was looking for volunteers to go TDY to Edwards AFB in California. Hells yeah!
