Part One: The BeachAs mentioned, yesterday I went swimming at the beach with Tasha. I tried to teach her how to do backstroke but I just ended up splashing her in the face a lot. After all the exercise, we decided to lay in the sun. I had a few harsh words with my skin upon realizing that after an afternoon in the sun I hadn't changed colour at all ( Read more... )

The beach is awesome! Nicki, Mike, I and a few others, when to the beach on Saturday! We all got burnt though, :(

You should come with us next time!

Ew, with Mike, huh? I don't know about that...

Just kidding! I love the beach! If my presence is wanted, I'm there any time of day or night. Fair warning: I'm a weenie in lake water because I'm not used to it and think everything is a fish, and more accurately, an aggressive fish that is going to attack me. There may be a lot of "EEEEK WHAT IS THAT?!?!" going on.

I'm so pasty that I know the wrath of the sunburn very intimitely. The worst was when I was really young and fell asleep with a bathing suit wedgie. I woke up and had burned bumcheeks. Ow!

I'm extremely afraid of murky water. On Saturday, I freaked out because something rubbed up agasint my leg and I swam out of the water as fast as I could, screaming.

Turns out it was a mars bar wrapper.

We'll be a great pair. And by great I mean terrified of everything!

Without glasses, I definitely understand how a mars bar wrapper could look like something scary.

To be fair, I don't think it's anything to do with our cuteness. I think beachy pictures in general are just pretty adorable. Well, unless they contain pervy old men or something!

Oh yay! I'm so glad you'll be able to make it. It will be fun, I promise!

I know the pain of the cupcakes thing!! Everyone else would always get to have treats and wear birthday crowns and I never got to because school never finished later than the 28th! At least we're better off than those suckers with birthdays in August who couldn't even give out their invitations at school and make people feel special or excluded!

We pretended to be little popcorns at various stages of popping!

I'm NOT the only one who does this?!

Keep up the adorable picture posts!

It's a fun game, mostly because it gives me lots of energy when I feel sleepy. You are not the only one!

You jerk! First you ditch me for New York, now you ditch me for med school graduation? Friendship over :(

Okay, here's the situation. I don't think I can switch to the 19th because a couple people have aleady expressed that the 18th is better for them. PLUS, since it's an outdoor thing I feel like there should be a raindate. Is the graduation going to be all day? You can come for a little bit!

Or if bunches of people start saying "Saturday is no good!" maybe I can switch it to the 19th unless rain is forecasted for that day, and if it is, then I'll do it on the 18th. But I feel like that is possibly confusing and a bad idea!

PS. I have another job interview tomorrow. If I get it (which I'm pretty sure I will unless I uh, screw up massively/have an ill-timed panic attack), I'm pretty sure I'm Brooklyn bound! !!

PPS. Would it be possible for you to come get your foods from my fridge sometime tomorrow or Friday? Amy is getting a huge food organic food delivery thing on Friday and we need to free up some space! Also I don't want it to spoil on you!
