So this weekend Stephanie and I went looking at places to have the wedding.  This is the big obstacle at the moment: finding a place we want to have our wedding/reception.

So far, we have two leading contenders.  Barring some unforeseen revelation I see us getting married at one of the following locales:

I should have worn shorts to work.  God its 9:13am and my office is already up to 85 degrees (29 Celsius).  NOT FUN.  And it is only getting louder... PCs in cubicles wanting to stay cool, plus some servers, plus a really loud dell 20 port switch... so ghetto.  so hot.  dammit.

Dinner last night went really well, I think.  Had dinner at the Bistro Garden in Toluca Lake.  That was probably the best restaurant pot roast I've ever had.  Toss in a decent syrah that I had, and it was a yummy experience ( Read more... )
