CHECKPOINT 01:
Hojo:
Checkpoint Date: 12.10.08.
Date of arrival in Nuadoria: 04.07.08.
Alliance: Self, Sasuke, Reno.
Residence: An unoccupied home. Currently spends most of his time in the basement, where he's slowly amassing a rather large amount of possessions.
Immediate goals:
+ Going to meet Nagi in order to look at the shield he received during his time in the Dam some months ago. Still attempting to convince Rinoa to do the same for him. He thinks this may be what Caim was suggesting when he told him that his scientific expertise was vital to retrieving those items. His sole desire with this effort is to be rewarded with the laboratory he keeps demanding.
+ Studying the library for a hint to its importance.
+ Studying the ancient weapons Sasuke brought him from the now open field.
+ Having a look at the physical differences since Sasuke was brought back from death.
Meetings:
+ Met Sasuke to strike a deal with him and become partners. The decision was that Hojo would hand over all information he discovered while researching the world, while Sasuke provides physical protection from his enemies.
+ Met with a Native, who was later revealed to be Caim. Returned with a report on the matter, some of the details of which he omitted from Reno and Sasuke.
+ Met with Vincent twice, the first time in a game of cat and mouse, and the second to save Vincent from near death after his encounter with Sephiroth. Claimed it was because he didn't want to lose valuable scientific resources. Stole his gun as payment. Vincent left Nuadoria without ever getting it back.
+ Met with a wounded Reno and dead Sasuke after Reno tore open the stitches Hojo had previously put in. Hojo was v. unimpressed. So was Sasuke when he found out his body had been donated to science.
Other notable events:
+ Generated the first personal report file, followed by an addendum.
+ Also struck a deal with Reno with similar terms, but kept Reno and Sasuke oblivious to each other's alliances.
+ After observing the presence of the Weapon near the dam, he begins to get interested in the environment itself.
+ And he rather cruelly lets slip Reno's alliance with him right in the heart of a severe flood.
+ A fateful meeting with Badou gets them off to a bad start. They continue to argue in other places, where the hugeness of Hojo's chin becomes something of a staple insult. Which Hojo dreads.
+ Meets Seimei. The two seem to get along until some two months later when Hojo picks the wrong kind of prey and Seimei gets jolly cheesed off about it.
