This year has really not been so great health-wise. Obviously there was the meningitis. And then I fell down the stairs while I had meningitis (I think that's when I fell) and hurt my wrist. sleep?
I think Liam just went to sleep completely on his own! I left him standing in his crib and walked out of the room. Normally he's screaming before I get to the door....and it's now been over 10 minutes! Hopefully I'm not jinxing it by posting...
(btw, the screaming usually lasts about 30 seconds) -
17 months
So Liam is now 17 months old! Well, technically that happened on Friday, but close enough. We finally resolved the daycare situation....by switching to a nanny-share with one of the other fellows. baby stuff
Ok, time for a completely Liam-focused, happy post! (Daycare situation not resolved yet, but I'm not going there.) Anyway, Liam is 16 months old now and doing well overall. quick update
Blah, blah, excuses, excuses....anyway, quick little update. Classes start tomorrow, I still haven't finished my summer project (or done much for it except get IRB approval), and I'm still behind on charts. That's all old stuff, nothing new there. daycare dilemma
So we're definitely looking for a new daycare at this point. For the THIRD time in a WEEK, Liam only had one diaper change today. Theortically they have charted that they checked his diaper more often than that and he was dry, but really, a 15 month old going 6 hours in the middle of the day w/out a wet diaper? fuzzy-headed
I hate feeling fuzzy-headed and it seems like I always feel that way now. At least, I always do whenever I'm trying to get anything done. Like now. I have tons of stuff to do, but every time I sit down and try to work, my brain just feels like mush. Honestly, even this post sucks. the nanny saga, part II
The nanny quit last week. Well, technically she gave us ~3 weeks notice. The point is, we've now gone through our second nanny since August. Apparently a family heard about her through word-of-mouth and offered her a job out of the blue and they're offering her more money.
