Smoking

I was called out Wednesday when I left the gaming table to have a cigarette. One of the players is a nurse and felt obliged to tell everyone how many smoker victims she has to take care of and how young some of them are. Now, I know that smoking is bad for me and I know I'd rather not be a smoker, but the fact is I've become one and I've become ( Read more... )

Whaddaya mean, you have no one to love? You have yourself to love! Love yourself, dammit! You are worth it!

And you can also ask your furpower family for help.

No, it's not so simple, but it has helped me to kind of try to motivate myself. I was just hoping it could help you.

I had a pretty long comment, then figured that since I don't really know you it might have come off as rude, so instead I'll just say I hope you can find a reason to quit and that you have a support base here that can help when you do. I know it's hard, I've seen family and friends try to quit, sometimes successfully, sometimes not. But it's something that you need to do when you are ready to. Trying to quit for the wrong reasons seems not to work for people.

There's a fine line between helping people change, and being non-accepting of them as they are. I've found a lot of non-acceptance being a smoker in California, and people do tend to be rude about it. That's not a reason to keep smoking, but it sure doesn't help with quitting.

Thanks for being caring and helpful. :)

Why should I care when I have no one to love?

Why should someone else love you if you don't care about yourself?

I'm offended that you would think no one should love me irreguardless of how I feel about myself. Everyone has problems, and I've met very few people without self esteem issues. So YES someone should love me whether I smoke now or not, and FU for thinking otherwise.

It's your life. You should do whatever you want with it. If you want to smoke, then smoke. If you want to go around lecturing people about what they should do with their lives, then you should do that. But seeing as in you don't have that annoying trait of nagging people I thank you. Anyways I have a favorto ask of you. My roomates are getting married in Novemeber and they want me to play the wedding march on the piano at the ceremony. It would so totally rock if you let me borrow your keyboard so I could practice; all time favorite roomate of mine. Please, please, please. Thank You.
