I was called out Wednesday when I left the gaming table to have a cigarette. I have to show up tomorrow at 8:00am in Los Angeles for federal jury duty. I would have been happy to serve if it was in San Luis, Santa Maria, or even Santa Barbara, but no, I have to go to downtown LA. I feel like I'm risking my life (the chances are higher that I'll be a victim of a crime in LA) to show up for this. I sure do hope this guy's
