I've been overwhelmed for the past ten days with construction trouble. I firmly believe that construction should be called destruction, as much more gets destroyed in the process. Today marks the fourth week at My-house-in-the-woods and there's still much to do. The pool demolition is in progress, and it goes slower than I, or they'd anticipated it. The damned thing is built twice as thick and massive as the code calls for, (workers told me) and so it takes more time to cut it to pieces.

Week three at My-house-in-the-woods (last week) was noisy and dusty, but not as noisy and dusty as it is now. The main house used to have seven doors, and that's not counting the garage doors. I have moved to Central Florida, which is part of the reason this blog and other things have been neglected. To find a house took three months, with weekly drives of 200 miles one way, (no time to blog) and then to buy the house took another two months.
