VI Belladonna Cove (Part 3)

I wish you had been here for my birthday.
Because it was a weekend we celebrated in the morning, and spent the rest of the day at the beach.
The Rileys joined us for a while too.
Mom met Timothy at the park sometime ago, and he came over with his daughter, Sally who immediately got along great with Maya.
Lander almost lost his finger to a crab, though, but everyone had a great time,
... and helped us take our minds off things, even if only for a while.
But true is, mom hasn't been the same since Obea left. She tries to hide it from us, but she's sad and it reflects in the whole house.
The radio is always off, the meals are quiet,
Lander and Maya are growing close, but father apart from mom and even myself;
and, though still too small to understand what's going on, I think Molly is starting to feel lonely.
At first mom would even avoid caring for Obelia, always finding excuses to ask me to check on her. I didn't mind of course, but it was so unlike her it worried me.
She's been getting better with time, but still feels like the sight of Obelia hurts her sometimes.
She has even been talking about going back to Veronaville.
For what I understand the Summerdream had offered all their help if she does so, from remodeling their home to accommodate all of us, to buying the house next door if she prefers. I don't think she'd actually take them on that kind of offer, but she may still want to move back there anyway. Considering the circumstances, it may not be such a bad idea after all. Being close to Obea could help us all to feel complete again...
But Obelia's birthday came some time after, and by then everyone was in much better mood.
Mom seemed happy again, and things were going back to normal at home.
By then we had been living in Belladonna Cove probably longer than in other town before, and for a short time it almost felt like we were meant to stay, but I should had known it wasn't going to last.
I'm not sure how or what or why exactly happened, but I know it was a couple of nights ago when mom invited a few friends home.
I think she mostly wanted a excuse to meet with Timothy, because she is starting to like him,
but at some point she found out that he is apparently involved in an affair with a married man.
I'm not sure what disappointed her the most, but she seemed pretty upset and after letting me have something to eat, she sent me to bed.
I couldn't see what happened after, but I could hear the guests leaving from my room.
All but one, and it wasn't Timothy.
I'm not going to judge her, but I knew exactly what would happen next....
She'd would start feeling sick again, and we all have to move... again.
Lander and I only have bad memories to leave behind here,
and the girls are still young to understand, but Maya is furious. She likes it here and doesn't want to leave her friends behind.
The Summerdream sent us pictures of Obea's birthday with yet another invitation to move with them in Veronaville,
but mom doesn't want to go back anymore, so we are going to Desiderata Valley next.
I know it's far from Plesantview, but mon says Cassandra wants to visit us for Molly's birthday. I hope you come along if she does.

I thought about doing another point of view this time for a chance, and Alex has always been Jonas closest friend so who better. :) It hasn't been mentioned much, but in game they are constantly calling each other, especially now that they are both teens.
Just as a note, in game Obea was actually in the house as baby and was there for the birthday too, while all the Summerdream pictures so far had been staged. I've never moved a baby with insim before and didn't want to risk it, but after becoming a toddler she was moved safely and is now living with them. She'll be growing up along with Obelia, but I'm hoping to make their next bday together somehow.
As for Timothy Riley, I don't even know how he ended up gay in this hood (this is a hood I've used a lot for different things), but it was a perfect twist for poor Blossom who was constantly heartfarting over him! XD (The part of the married man, was for Jason Cleveland, but only because I'm pretty sure I read about that once and thought it would add drama :P)
She also liked Gabriel, but he was her consolation prize. I choose him at the end for the genes. Brown hair, green eyes, and -the nose!! I really wanted her to meet Armand too, but never happened.
Desiderata Valley is almost done in game and was pretty short, so hopefully it'll be just one update for the next week or so. The "father" there is going to be someone really interesting, but not native from DV which was a bit frustrating, tbh, but that hood is so small I added several bin families/sims to it and she ended up falling for one of them.
