Heh, I dunno why, but this makes me go "Aww" when I see Luca like this. He just looks so un-evil at this point, like an uncle. An estranged, genocidal uncle, but still an uncle.
Also, I like the Sylvia pic most. It almost reminds me of Atris from KotOR 2, 'cept better looking xP
And keep up yer boring posts, they're most exciting, y'know
XD Thats sort of how I tend to view him, which is bad cuz he's really not that nice... ah well, the next few chapters with him in it will hopefully kick me out of sympathetic mode...
LOL I was wondering what it reminded me of! You're right, it also hella looks like Atris's color scheme. Man that bitch was hard to kill, I had to keep running around and losing her then sneaking back and hitting her, haha
Oh wow, that speedpaint of Luca is beautiful and atmospheric. Your art posts are always great, not lame at all! I like how much thought goes into your commissions and your little commentary on them.
Thank you :3 I try to keep the busts worth the amount the commissioner is paying, I am afraid of commissioning someone and getting like the same boring face/ colors over and over...
Pfft, 'lame' my hairy ass. And I see what you mean about the painting *gushes yet again lolz* I guess he kinda looks less cartoony, with the less defined outlines and suchlike (e.g. on the eyes). It works well! (though the Sylvia one is my fave I think :3) Haha, it seems eating in bed also gives you spots? Put the grub down, Luca!
Thanks, interestingly hers and Landor's took the least time, but turned out looking the best, maybe I should just go with my gut feeling about these rather than nitpick about color choice and stuff like I did for the other two :B
Noes, I've said too much D: Not to be taken literally.
Yeah, I think it's easy to get caught up in the details and it doesn't necessarily give the best results (like how quick sketches often turn out better than stuff one spent hours on, which bugs me no end).
Haha, I thought that was a spot on his forehead that wasn't there before.
Congratulations, you are the first person to mention the forehead spot. I've been painting it on for like 5 months now and nobody has mentioned it till now... you win a uh chinchilla or something <3
