I graduate in 2014. That's next year! Holy balls. I'm already researching Master's programs. UMass Boston offers an online MA in Linguistics degree. Does that sound right up my alley or what?! Another option would be to jump directly from my BA to a Doctorate degree. But I'm not sure I want to spend that many more years in school. I think I want to ( Read more... ) -

We are in Joplin, MO. Drove pretty much for 12 hours straight, only stopping to pee, gas up, and grab food for the road. We are stopping here for the night. The hotel we are in lost power three times in the first 15 minutes. o_O

1. Something exciting might be happening job-wise! I got a call, revised my resume, and now I wait. Eeeee! I don't even know if they'll offer me the job or anything, but I'd really love this internship opportunity. Gross ER crap
Today was a cluster fuck of an ER day. On top of our usual chaos, we had a disaster drill. It's a super fun thing the city thinks up to torture us with and make themselves feel better. They simulated an airplane crash and hired actors to be the "survivors". They had on ripped, burned clothing and really awesome latex burn/scrape effects. One guy ( Read more... ) -
