Tapped Out
I have hit rock bottom, I think. I forgot to show up for work this morning, and my two colleagues very apologetically called me to tell me that i was supposed to have shown up for work forty minutes ago. I've Moved!
Last month, I found a master bedroom just down the street from my parents' place, which wasn't too small, filthy, or had dubious co-tenants (previous problems I encountered when viewing rooms). Avaunt, Flu Bug!
My big bro came back from UK with a very bad flu, that literally landed him in bed, practically comatose, for almost 10 days. His mom told me he was in bed almost 23 hours every day, probably getting up only to go to the bathroom. He still looks really tired, and is coughing badly. I got a request via flickr the other day by a website, asking for permission to use one of my photographs. I was a bit...befuddled. I'd hardly say my photos were really very good, or even, er, decent. But they're mine, so I put them up. So it's now here, on NowPublic.com.

Quick Update
So the GP referred me to a rheumatologist, but the latter told me my rheumatoid factor and stuff were negative. So that's good news. Bad news is that my Vitamin D levels are well below normal, and my ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) is very elevated and I believe so is my CRP (c-reactive protein). At home, politics is a matter of apathy for me. I didn't even get to vote in the last election as my constituency was a walkover, as were several others. In the first election I could vote in, it was a choice between a loudmouth joker and the incumbent party. Well ( Read more... ) -
Fast Again
Been feeling kinda bloated and full the last week or so, and decided I would go on a liquid diet for a week to clean out the system. Lots of water, hot infusions with ginseng, wolfberries, a few milky drinks to keep the gastric attacks at bay. Ego Break
Late last week, a vendor came to demonstrate a new interface for one of the databases we subscribe to. As he was early, and my colleagues were out to lunch, I was seconded to "entertain" him till everyone was back. He was very pleasant, both to look at and to talk to.
