This year, I and the lovely Sabrina at work have been lumbered with the task of sorting out our office xmas do. I used to make events happen for money before, but then I already had the venue by default, so now I'm a bit lost

We had ours at Bar Soho last year, hired out the upstairs. They served food by sending waiters round with platters mostly (finger food but lots of it, not just tiny nibbles), and there was music and a dance floor, and an area where we had a blackjack table and croupier. I think its on Brewer Street or thereabouts. The year before we went to Digress which is now called Pearl, had a section of the downstairs which is basically a club, had some food platters set out in the seating area which was up from the dance floor. I had a good time at both :) your bossman might like Pearl less as it's quite loud and clubby.
