I need more days off before June to get stuff finished. I decided today was going to be a day off of work and actually made progress. Cleaned up the kitchen. Laid out the tile for the table. Bought molding for the edges. Finished hanging some pictures on the walls downstairs. Accepted my financial aid even though it's not enough to cover ( Read more... )

I noticed... let me know when you're not busy. I have to work 7 days a week now until June 2nd. Mon-Thu 8:30-5, Fri 8:30-4:30, Sat 3-11p, Sun 10-3p. Then it should be school Mon-Fri 9-4:50p and probably the same weekends as now if I have the time for it.

What type of career do you really want to do the rest of your life? I know at one point you mentioned wanting to get into entry-level accounting, but is that what you really want career wise? I always say to do what you love.

Yeah after 3 years I think I have figured out what I want to do. My plan is to get a Bachelor’s in photography then possibly a Master’s in Accounting and then possibly start my own business either running a vegan café or an accounting practice helping the working poor with finances and taxes or travel the world for national geographic or something taking pictures.

I just currently hate the job I’m at because the owners are crazy and their accounting stuff is all out of control because the people before me and this other girl didn’t know what they were doing. It’s a small business with just internet and phone sales so there isn’t much that needs to be done but she has 2 accounting people. The last two jobs I had in accounting were awesome and I loved all the work I did.

you pretty much just stole my life. I was a former photography major, switched to accounting. Contemplated going into travel and tourism. And I was just talking to my friend Catlin on Sunday about opening a vegan/kosher bakery. (Despite the fact I can't cook that many things... and im poor.)
