the kitter-cat, after two weeks of meds, is coming back to himself. his stomach has stopped making the terrifying noises and he's eating like a pig. his eyes are engaging, his postures are more relaxed, and when i pick him up he's a wiggly cat again instead of a hot little doll (he didn't have a temp, but his energy was hot and static). last ( Read more... )

my beautiful 13-year-old cat grymwysh has been ill, and diagnosed with pancreatitis. he lost 3 pounds in 5 months; most of it very recently. we are getting some medicine for him today. i pray that it helps him. he has been vomiting the pepcid prescribed earlier, which worries me ( Read more... )

it was 45 degrees in the apt when i got home tonight. listening to sequentia and drinking now in front of a space heater. we have no money and little power but the cheer of or own hearts when we can manage it. there is nothing to do but wait it out until spring. at least music is always beautiful.
