I feel sick. Even though I knew it was coming, I think because he'd been so optimistic (read - burying head in sand) there was a part of me that hoped we'd be ok. But he's lost his job. Got it and the car until the end of the month.

But I can't sell myself well enough on my cv, I'm scared applying for another job and leaving the safety of this place (even though it's not very safe) and Phil wants it to be better paid than this one.
