 we had our first real transportation nightmare when e turned up at lima airport only to be told that aerocondor weren't running flights. they said it was because of bad weather, turned out the tail fell off one of their planes..we were a little altitude sick at first, and then for me that turned to real sickness which was horrible and feverish. san telmo is an older part of the city and our hotel carly is right on the plaza dorrego. the first days were haunted by jetlaggish insomnia. they were insomniacal? insomnibabble. for brits adjusting to eating at 11pm going out at 3 takes some adjusting but at least it killed off the new zealand sleeping habits. being in a city seems so normal now ( Read more... )
