Oh - you all know Donna Noble, don't you? She's bolshy, brassy, and loud - impossible to miss, really. She's even got red hair so you're sure not to overlook her.
Well, let's say you've managed to make it so far in your lives (which are clearly devoid of meaning) without having met the lovely Miss Noble. Let me be your guide. (Or you can consult
The Guide.)
Donna Noble is a Leo. She's single and she likes long walks on the beach, and if you're... oh, no, that's for something else. Let me begin again. Donna Noble is a temp (supertemp, thankyouverymuch) from Chiswick. She lives with her mother, Sylvia, and grandfather, Wilf. Once upon a time, Donna met a very strange, inordinately skinny bloke who called himself the Doctor - or at least, she met him in her dreams. That bit's all gone a bit fuzzy, and when she thinks on it too hard, well... it's worse than a hangover, I'll tell you that.
If Donna could remember, she'd be able to tell you all about that time the Doctor saved her from a giant spider her git of a fiancé was planning on feeding her to (and that time she saved him right back from being so lonely), or the place she went when the Library gobbled her up - that perfect dreamscape life with an adorable (and quiet) husband and two darling kids - or the time she wound up half-Doctor! Oh, that was great fun.
Sadly, Donna can't tell you any of that, because the Doctor in her brain nearly crushed her. The Doctor not in her brain saved her, but in doing so, made her lose everything Donna would know that made her brilliant.
Not that she needs those memories to be brilliant - she clearly is - but it'd be nice, yeah?
Donna's had a real go of it. She and Edie Sedgwick were the first to try to escape, and they both
fainted at the border. Luckily, Tony Stark
responded to her call for help. That same night, she ran into Gene Hunt, and they went on a journey to the
future.
The day they returned, when she nearly
fainted again thanks to the metacrisis left over in her mind, Gene was there to
lend a hand. As a reward, she
shagged him (
twice).
Next morning, Donna met Martha Jones and went on a little trip to the
past with her. She and Gene had a little
falling out later that day, and then she ran into an alien, Teeg, and didn't realize she was
speaking another language.
The following day, she had the great misfortune of meeting
Harold Saxon. Ignoring Martha's
advice, she got into a sticky spot, and T.E.Lawrence
came to her aid and
sadly met his end. Luckily, Martha Jones
saved her.
Weary and sick at heart, she met
Peter Carlisle the next day, and he sort of restored her faith in people (and realized she really hadn't ought to spend so much time in the company of attractive blokes).
Later, she met
the Rani (her first Time Lord) and they traveled to the near future, where they met a
few people, and learned there was city the people feared. After they returned to the present, they journeyed to the
distant future for some rest and relaxation.
