We finally finished moving out of the old apartment on Sunday. That's one less thing to do... now for the stack of address-change forms.

Yesterday at work I fixed 12 IE-only bugs.

Today I left the apartment at 7:30 and got to my desk at 9:05.
I used to leave at 6:40 and get here at 9:15.
My commute is an hour shorter now :)

Standard November and December.

Holidays: Took a couple weeks off work, spent Christmas and New Year's with Mairi's family, visited my extended family for a couple days. 'Twas nice.

Standard January.

Acquired furniture.

Inauguration! Watched it in a conference room with my coworkers. Yay.

Wow.

We actually won. That's amazing. Seeing Obama win (and seeing it with friends who felt the same way) was incredible and I will not soon forget it.

And yet as I write this it's fairly certain that Prop. 8 passed. Which kind of ruins the euphoria of it all.

But Obama! Yay!

Unless you have already. Also, please vote for someone other than McCain.

And if you know anyone in California, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell them to vote NO on Prop. 8.

(That's the one that would eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California.)
