Two Merlin drabbles: The box and The Best Laid Plans

Aug 01, 2011 10:58

I wrote these around the same time I wrote In the eye of the storm, I thought I might as well post these too.
And that concludes all my (finished) writings so far, hopefully I'll finish my long story at some point.
Do let me know if the ratings are wrong.

The Box. One glance at Arthur's face was all Gaius needed. He sank down on the nearest chair. )

Both are absolutely wonderful. I love the first one for the hope it gives Gaius, knowing Merlin might still be alive somewhere. The second I enjoyed because of Morgana and Morgause wrongly assuming they had brought about Merlin and Arthur's death for sure this time. Great work.

I really liked how Gaius held out hope even if Arthur was not. Loved the second one even more. The idea that Merlin had to tell Arthur and Arthur chained up so he couldn't do anything was great. The dragon's laughter just made it perfect!

Awwww, thank you! I imagine ol' Kilgharrah would chuckle for years if this happened. :)
