Well. I'm in dire need of a good mediwizard. My back is in a right state after hauling 7 stone of squirming wizarding orphan out of a muggle nightmare and over to Gingerbread ( Read more... )

Nice to have you around again. Just bear in mind that Unforgivables and the sacrifice of large mammals certain spells aren't suitable for children under the age of 11 and you should do fine.

They're like little sponges absorbing everything, so malleable. I think if we accelerate the curriculum we could have a class entering Hogwarts well and truly worthy of sorting to Slytherin.

And I always thought you cared more about bloodline with regards to sorting than actual skill. What changed your mind?

I'm not suggesting we breed them, but in the post Dark Lord years it cannot hurt to raise allies.

I need some legal potions. For the migraine that I'm getting, and to keep Cynthia Baddock sedated. Why her father left her with me, I don't understand. He's just sitting around the family home ordering house elves about.

I've owled a batch of completely legal, never-even-a-whiff-of-banning potions. This whole thing is completely ridiculous. Bloody Aurors are just a lot of thugs - and not even good thugs at that.

Thank you so much Millie. As much as I adore the girl, I was starting to loose the last bits of my sanity.

Tace atque abi. We all do our jobs and services as best we can and to the best of our abilities Miss Bullstrode that's all I can say in general it must be very sad to do what you did today however.

Es stultior asino. If locking up Baddock represents the best of your abilities, then congratulations, I now have an even lower opinion of your competence. Nice to see you playing your strengths though.

All I saying Miss Bullstrode is that we have to do what we are given to the best of our abilities our jobs and our services and what we are given and be proud of every step. Vade in pace.

Try not to be such a prat. You may be the only Gryffindork that ought to have been sorted Slytherin. Show it.

I admire your tenacity regarding the teaching. I found that it did not suit me at all. Tutoring one or two children at a time is just about manageable, but any more and I go insane after a time.

Good work with the magic prep classes too. I think that you are quite right, and that some children could benefit from those lessons.

You know, Gingerbread could use a good Slytherin like you. We've had such an influx recently of new orphans, what with muggle parents trying to kill magical children, or they're just abandoning them. Never mind the older ones who weren't allowed to attend wizarding schools. It's a shambles now, and what we really need is strong wizards to instill values in their young minds.

I thank you for the compliment. I shall certainly consider it, but at present I am attempting to keep a low profile until I am certain what the Baddock Situation is.

Quite. The Baddock Situation is why I took the job, what with potion makers and Slytherins once again suffering harassment of the ministry's thugs. It helps that the pay is quite decent.
