What's the problem?otherOctober 27 2005, 23:10:30 UTC
"The people who owned this house before were do-it-yourselfers. Instead of ripping up the old tiles, they just added the new tiles on top of the old ones. The crazy bit is that the subtiles are nicer than the supertiles."
Of course not! I was quoting the Daleks, not the Borg. I really should have gone with the oh-yeah-duh "exterminate" instead of "eradicate"...but yeah. Daleks say "useless" and Borg says "futile".
But I appreciate the misspelling given the post. :)
Man, and I thought I'd discovered a new human universal! (or at least, a my-friends-list universal) Now I'll have to abandon this research path completely!
Y'know what misspelling gets my goat? Rediculous. I hate that. It's spelled with an "i" people! (probably preaching to the good-spelling choir, here, but still...)
Unless they're spelling it that way so that they can emphasize it better, because Reeeediculous sounds better than Riiiiiiidiculous. But I still much prefer RiDICulous.
I wish I could remember what was the most recent one that plagued my friends list.
When I find it necessary to emphasize the ridiculousness of something even more than just calling it ridiculous, I prefer to resort to ricockulous. I find it has a nice ring to it.
