So I drove my parents to the airport tonight and on the way back I looked out at a beautiful colored horizon. There were some dark violet hued clouds that I could see raining down on some far away place. It was at that time that I wondered if during the course of my life I'd also witness what it sounds like when doves cry... -
CAiNE and Domo-kun
CAiNE is over, Brighton, Jack and I had a grand time. Niagra
We went up to Niagra Falls for the first time today and all and all it was pretty cool. The surrounding area wasn't at all what I expected though. Having been places like the Grand Canyon I was thinking there would be a visitors center and some contained pockets of civilization surrounded by carefully controlled park land. After meeting most of Jack's family on his paternal side I feel that we need to start an event called the "Jack of Hearts Memorial Karaoke Fest and Drag Show Revue" I think Jack would appreciate this grand gesture and would feel as I do, that once we have the first one it should continue on in perpetuity. Made it to Buffalo!
After long mind numbing hours of air travel, Brighton, Jack and I have made it to Buffalo! We are staying with Jack's dad who has been very hospitable. So far we took a quick tour around town and went to the bar were the original Buffalo wings were created. I've decided that I'm officially depressed. I'm anxious all the time, contemplating death randomly, and overly fatalistic. The only thing that gets me riled up any more is imaginary game worlds. Maybe I'll seek professional help. Meh. -

Change is in the air. Brighton and I have recently moved across town closer to work and school and we've also sold Hector our (sometimes) trusty VW Jetta in favor of a brand new Toyota Yaris that we've dubbed Shuttlecraft Pablo.
