Not to my surprise, I've come down with a nasty cold and being stressed/worn out from the break up didn't help one bit.  I'm trying to see the positive in this as I'd rather have a cold than deal with the break up through substances if you know what I mean.  No alcohol or drugs or even weed as it would scream 'bad parenting' due to my commitment ( Read more... )

Being in the state that I am, that being still raw and emotionally scarred, I try to keep myself busy surrounding myself with the ones that I love whether it's family or friends.  Which is an improvement as I literally hunkered down and didn't see anyone for about a week after the split.  George was incredibly supportive granting me the opportunity ( Read more... )

So what was supposed to be a trip to the mall with my sis, turned out to be a half day retreat at the spa!  When I got home after my workout she surprised me with a text to let me know that it was her treat and she'd pick me up just before noon.
