If you haven't heard the (main, as far as I'm concerned) Union Square location of Zen Palate has closed, due to "astronomical and non-negotiable" rent increases.

Granted, they have 2 other locations, and they imply that they will re-open in a new "Union Square" location at some point.

But for now, the park just got a little less cool.

Within Temptation rocked Friday night. Seriously, I enjoyed the hell out of it. I was surprised that Irving Plaza was pretty well packed. Apparently, Roadrunner is doing a good job of pimping them in the US. Luckily, it was a lot of kids, which meant I had pretty clear sight lines ( Read more... )
