Eric is in Richland, WA this week leaving me alone in Chi-town. His father was found to have a brain hemmorhage this Wednesday and the first thing I did was buy Eric a plane ticket, pack his clothes and drive him to the airport. This morning a patient's family member- out of the blue, mind you- yelled at me about the air conditioning not working. This was 7AM. The patient had been comfortable all night. So I've gotten back to Chicago, Eric driving my car the whole 2,000 miles and hitting 1 deer along the way. Actually, we got in home a whole week ago and I've been doing, um, stuff for the whole week.
