Man, Livejournal has been quiet recently. I guess that's what happens though when people get older and busier- personal journaling seems to fall by the wayside. Not to mention the impact of Facebook and Twitter! I see some of you are still around, though, so I'll keep writing, even though I don't think my updates will ever be as frequent again ( Read more... ) -

Not at work today. Alternating taking diazepam with drinking alcohol (not at the same time) so that I'm kept pretty much out of it. This way I don't have to be overwhelmed by the bad thoughts and feelings in my head.
Time for a nap now. -

post holiday depression
We're back from Cornwall, got back last night. I was going to post about how fantastic our holiday was and how we had the most amazing sunny weather...but. I feel extremely crap today. Depressed. FYI, in case you didn't know, Rich and I are heading to Cornwall on holiday for the next week. We're actually on the train to Plymouth now! Won't be updating here until I get back, although I might be on Twitter/Facebook a bit. See you in a week! -
new game-love
So, I have pretty much fallen in love with Lord of the Rings Online. I like it better than WoW, honestly. I actually cancelled my WoW account during the whole RealID fiasco and never bothered to reactivate it- looks like I won't be going back anytime soon ( Read more... ) -
Twitter
Just FYI, I've been using twitter again for several weeks now. My account is mostly tweets about mental health issues, since I've found that Twitter is a great way to engage with other people with mental health problems and people who work in mental health (LJ seems too limited, forums too insular, Facebook too public.) hmm, haven't posted in awhile. Things are basically the same as they were last time I posted- mood generally on the upswing, although I've been doing some metta (lovingkindness) and compassion meditation daily for the past couple of weeks and that is bringing up some fairly intense emotions.
