9 Years
It's hard to believe looking back that it's been 9 years since A and I decided that we wanted to hang out together for the rest of our lives, hence the whole marriage thing ( Read more... ) -
new music
So had some cabin fever tonight, and wanted to get out of the house. Went down to my favorite pub, "The Four Daughters" downtown for their live music, and fell in love with the musician.
This is a weird version of the song, but still, great singer, great guitar player. The guy she had playing bass was in-freakin-credible. -
Topic Du Jour: Bicycling
Not a lot to put out there about this one. I've been off my bike since April because of a knee injury. I tried a couple days ago to ride to the store and back, and that nearly killed me.
So, a few more weeks of recovery and a new back wheel before I try again. -

It's interesting sitting at work and listening to all the different opinions that go on around me. You've got the pro-union nurses, the anti-union nurses and those who don't care. You've got the fundies, the new-agers, the liberals, the conservatives, the libertarians, and the ones who pretend to be libertarian but are really conservatives ( Read more... ) -
Topic Du Jour: Aging
This one is apropos this month, because in a few weeks, I'm going to be turning 30. I remember growing up thinking that anyone over 30 was OLD. Now I'm laughing. Holidays

Vets
Waiting around for the cat to get done at the vet. He's having his teeth cleaned, and it's just torture waiting. I called about 90 minutes ago, and he was just going in. I always hate taking Denver to anything that he needs to be put under for because of his liver problems ( Read more... )
