Medical school is a unique, rewarding experience of which I am fortunate to be a part. But right now, even though I have personal concerns, worries, and heartaches, I am too tired to do much other than take a long, hot shower.

This is very exciting! I remember going to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science with my Mammalogy class last year and seeing a "Louisiana Birds" exhibit, and they had models of these two beautiful birds that were said to have been extinct since the early 20th century.
