Yea, it does stop me from listening to my songs once I stop paying, but it's $10 a month and it allows me to download with abandon, which I couldn't do on iTunes because I'd be worried about the money I was spending.
Yeah, but on iTunes you can give yourself an allowance (say $10 a month) and it will be automatically charged to your credit card, and you can't add any more without going in and reconfiguring everything. Since it's such a pain to increase your allowance, you don't accidentally spend more than you meant to. I just consider it one of my monthly bills, like my cell phone or high speed internet, in that I could live without it, but I wouldn't want to.

Once you stop shelling out money, its supposed to keep you from listening to your songs. Personally, I'd rather not rent my music.
